With two fiddles, harp and cello, as well as step dancing and singing, ANEMARA weave a powerfully rhythmic and textured sound.

In 2017, the musicians met in Glasgow where a dream of impacting the folk music genre was born. With captivating melodies and energetic rhythms, they invite listeners into a rich soundscape of vibrant compositions. Thoughtful, engaging and skillful. Enjoy ANEMARA as their notes swirl across the Atlantic and meet in a lively dance.

Summer 2024, ANEMARA toured successfully

across Sweden performing at notable festivals

Urkult and Medeltidsveckan, and other music venues.

They were broadcasted in Swedish National Radio P2 and reviewed in local media.

In spring 2025 they toured in Scotland and

released their first single Atlantic Schottis in May 2025.

Your music was like a warm hug that embraced both heart and soul. Filled with both sorrow, happiness, hope and a welcoming into your world.”
